2024 – week 33

A bit of a failure this week.

I had hoped to get the full moon rising over the horizon. With moonrise just after sunset, the moon would have had a red glow to it. It did, when it finally rose above the hazy cloud, but by the time it was starting to become visible it was too high in the sky for the best results.

A longer lens would have helped, but I had hoped to get the moon just a little larger in the frame with a more interesting foreground. If it had been a clearer day, that would have possible as there would have been more ambient light when the moon was first visible over the horizon.

Still, you can’t control conditions, and at least I made the effort to get out and try.
