2024 – week 25

I decided to take advantage of the long days to get this shot of the setting sun lighting up the train tracks in Leigh.

I like the way the sun hits the lamp on the left and the windows on the right, giving some symmetry. There is some lens flare evident in the shot, as to be expected when shooting straight into the sun, but I don’t think it detracts too much from the final image.
