2023 – week 3

For this shot I was experimenting with the degree of background blur. A narrower aperture would have brought the wheel in the background into sharper focus, while a wider aperture would have rendered it even less distinct.

I wanted it to be blurred, but with enough detail to give just a hint of what the telescope could see.
