2026 – week 8

A photo of nothing in particular.

I took advantage of a mild and dry day to go for a walk with my camera and just take random snaps. It’s something that I did frequently when I first got back into photography a few years ago, but then the event photography took over and I rarely bothered to just go out and take pictures for the sake of it.

It’s something I want to do more often. Not every photo has to be a great image. It’s enough, sometimes, to just go out for a walk and use the camera as a way of staying in the moment and observing the world rather than just rushing through it.
