2025 – week 24

Sometimes these weekly photos are examples of close but not quite. I’m sure there’s a good shot to be had here at this time of year when the sun is setting to the northwest but this isn’t it.

I like the sun reflecting off of the roof of the train, but the composition needs work. I had to react to the passing train and I didn’t quite get it right. I shouldn’t have cut off the top of the lamppost, and perhaps should have waited until the sun was a little lower – as it is, it’s burning out too much.

This is probably a shot that calls for combining multiple exposures, and possibly even a long exposure to blur the train a little.
