2025 – week 1

Technically 2024, as this was taken on New Year’s Eve. This was the early firework display at 6pm. I knew I wasn’t close enough to make the fireworks the main subject, so I used the bridge and the figures on the bridge as a frame. It’s not pin sharp and needed considerable help in post processing but, given that it was a 4 second handheld exposure in high winds, it’s amazing it came out at all.
