2023 – week 26

From one extreme to another with a very busy weekend.

I was an official volunteer photographer for the Leigh Folk Festival, and over the course of two long and very hot days I took hundreds of shots of the performers, dancers, stalls, food vendors, and audience.

Some of my favourite shots came at the very end of the festival, with warm evening sunshine lighting up the crowd. I even pushed myself out of my comfort zone to get into the middle of it for some more dynamic shots.
